Family Dentistry
Are you looking for a good local family dentist, one that cares about your children’s health as much as you do? A place where you can bring your children and know that they’re welcome?
Well, Adelphi is that place. We’ve been looking after families in Preston for nearly 150 years and your family’s dental health is a responsibility we take seriously. We know how stressful it can be to get little ones to sit still in the waiting room and that there’s nothing worse than trying to settle a nervous or excited child (we do get them!). If you’re worried that the people around you want peace and quiet, you’ll find that we’re pretty laid back at Adelphi and our patients love our family-friendly approach.
Our friendly team have years of family dentistry experience and know exactly how to make little ones (and not so little ones) feel relaxed and welcome. From providing educational videos in the waiting room, to explaining things like the importance of good tooth brushing in a really easy to understand way, not to mention offering the ever popular ‘stickers’ and a FREE ride in the dental chair to your toddlers, we’re here to help and we’re always happy to answer any questions you have as parents. Even if it’s just getting your toddler used to seeing you visit the dentist, our approach is calm and reassuring.
Our modern, purpose-built and air-conditioned practice has three surgeries and a large private car park to make visiting us as convenient as possible. We’re also on a major bus route and just five minutes away from Preston city centre and docklands.
We always look forward to welcoming new and personally referred patients.

If you would like to register your child with Adelphi Dental Care or you have a specific issue you would like to discuss – perhaps you’re worried your child needs braces or isn’t brushing their teeth properly -, give us a call on 01772 253 443 so that we can arrange a convenient appointment time. You can also email us at smile-adviser@adelphidentalcare.co.uk.
Trips to Adelphi are a family occasion, which I like. Our boys understand the importance of dental care, which, as their mum, means I have one less thing to worry about!
